Before: Seeing this 106 year old NY farmhouse caught my eye.
After all, Joe and I have been joking (but with wishful thinking)
about moving out to the country.
After: A lifesaving makeover but…
I would have kept it a shade of yellow and replaced the shingles with a tin roof.
Before: The home’s staircase.
After: Amazing restoration.
The picture below is from the HGTV series; Sarah's House. She completely redid an old farmhouse. It was fabulous.
I think numbered stairs are so cute.
Below is a picture of one of my favorite redos in Sarah’s House.
Before: A real ugly room.
After: Sarah turned it into one of the coolest mudrooms ever!
After: Coolest powder room.
Sarah Richardson is one of my favorite designers.
Her blend of styles is flawless.
This Saturday her new series begins @8pm HGTV.
She is tackling her own lake house. It should be a phenomenal transformation like always.
Check out a bedroom from her farmhouse.
This is Sarah's farmhouse at Christmas.
Farmhouses and Christmas are a magical mix.
Aren’t they?
These pictures make me really want a farm house more :)

Talk about Heaven on Earth.
me too!!!!!
Love the Christmas tree!! The outside of the house is like jaw dropping. And the numbering on the stars I LOVE that too! And the mud room is too cool. Feels like a Texas home.
