Michael Jackson died
and I was in London.
The Queen’s band played
THRILLER and MAN IN THE MIRROR.
Breaking with such stiff protocol
gave my friends and I
goosebumps.
THEN…
My friends, Kelly and Nancy
helped me find Nina Campbell’s store.
I am in love with her parakeet design wallpaper
and I was dying to see it in person.
In fact, I finally ordered that wallpaper and
it’s going to be hung in my house this Thursday.
My friends will be happy to know
I didn’t completely waste their time.
Visiting Nina Campbell’s store was exciting.
You can see Nancy (in that mirror
on the desk) but she looks so good
at 1st I thought it was just a picture…
then….I realize “Hey, it’s Nancy!”
We explored the streets of London
and found the neighborhood
Kelly’s brother called home for years.
I can see why he lived here…
I loved London even more than Paris!
It was so sweet!
I took a picture of this stately door
because a paper wedding bell was hanging on it.
It was such a cool touch.
Maybe they were newlyweds?
Maybe they hung it there for me to see…
so I could repeat that look for a bridal shower?
How cute!
The boys told us that they wanted to surprise us.
We let them…
especially since they made that request
in HARROD’s.
I spied on them so I could capture those
MEN on a MISSION at the candy counter.
They bought us chocolate :)
It was a very delicious candy counter.
My cupcake BLOG picture
was taken at HARROD’s too.
I tried to buy a cupcake but the line was too long
so I took the photograph instead.
MORE beautiful then the candy displays
are the fresh flowers for sale on many street corners.
That’s the stuff that blows you away in Europe….
all the fresh flowers for sale.
Europeans obviously
“take time to smell the roses”
more then we do. SAD, isn’t it?
We are missing out!
Fresh flowers and London
are two of the sweetest things :)

I loved London. I love the memories. I love you!
Hey Miss Lisa,
I'm so thrilled to hear you are hanging the wallpaper! Even if you had not ordered the paper, the trip to Nina Campbell's store was great fun. You really do have an eye for detail and design. By the way, the photo of me in the picture frame is of my backside! It was a great trip, one I will never forget. Bath, Cotswolds and London with you and Kelly were just too much fun. You're my die hard, let's stay 2 weeks travel friends. Thanks for making great memories for Michael and me. Love ya - Nancy
